Our Mission

The Mission of the California Efficiency + Demand Management Council (the Council) is to accelerate the evolution of decarbonization policies and clean energy markets and expand the impact of distributed energy resources vital to California’s future. Our Strategic Goals include:

  • Firmly establish efficiency and demand management’s place in the distributed energy resource (DER) market and strengthen the role of DERs in the implementation of California’s clean energy goals
  • Provide members with timely and relevant services so their businesses can thrive
  • Strengthen the Council’s finances and organizational capabilities
