Martha Campbell is a Principal in RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings program. In her role, she oversees the program’s efforts to equitably decarbonize existing multifamily housing in the U.S. by promoting market enabling policies and incentives, organizing demand, unlocking financing, pre-engineering retrofit systems, and coordinating the supply chain to create turnkey project delivery.
Through the evolution of this work, Martha more recently cofounded the Advanced Building Construction Collaborative. The Collaborative’s mission is to scale advanced building construction technologies and processes to accelerate decarbonization of the retrofit and new construction markets while empowering the modernization and competitiveness of the US construction sector globally.
Prior to RMI, Martha’s professional experience has ranged from community organizing, to green building, to equities trading on Wall Street. Martha holds a dual MBA/MS from the University of Michigan and a BA from Stanford University. She is the Public Director of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.
