Darren Hanway is the Manager of Demand Side Management Programs for Southern California Gas Company, the nation’s largest natural gas distribution utility. Darren leads the development, design, and implementation of energy efficiency, demand response, and solar thermal solutions for over 21 million customers in Southern California.

Darren has more than 15 years of experience in utility demand-side management programs. He has held a variety of positions throughout his career, including the management of SoCalGas’ energy efficiency policy and advocacy efforts. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
