Eugene Ayuyao is a Senior Manager of the Commercial Market Segments and Locational Resource Contracts at Southern California Edison.
Eugene currently leads the implementation and oversight of the third party energy efficiency program portfolio focusing on the commercial, industrial and agricultural market segments. Her team also supported efforts to address grid reliability requirements as well as capital investment and grid resiliency planning initiatives.
Prior to joining the Commercial Portfolio, Eugene Ayuyao served as the Manager of the Residential Rebates and New Construction group. In this capacity, Ms. Ayuyao oversaw several energy efficiency programs targeting lighting, plug load, behavior, single family, multi-family and residential new construction markets. She also directed the development and successful execution of several pilots that carried out federal and state energy and water programs. Additionally, Ms. Ayuyao represented Southern California Edison in various working groups that were instrumental in the development of the California’s Long Term Energy Efficiency Plans.
Ms. Ayuyao has been with SCE for the past seven years. Before joining SCE, Ms. Ayuyao worked for several years as the Marketing/Product Director for manufacturing companies in the lighting and metals industry. Ms. Ayuyao earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Economics from the University of the Philippines, a Master of Science Degree in Corporate Communications from Ithaca College, New York and her MBA from Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, CA.
